How to Incentive Your Profits

Another key to becoming a successful affiliate marketer is using an incentive.

What is an incentive?

An incentive is a marketing strategy which is designed to get people to take action now.

Human nature is such that we want to take our time and think about something...for example, you yourself have seen a great offer on the internet, and you've promised yourself that you will come back to it later....sound familiar?

But we never do come back. And neither do your website visitors.

Your customers are just like you. Busy. Distracted. You have to get through the fog and get their attention. Get your customers to take action.

Create an incentive to get your potential customer to take action.

Create an incentive based on value such as the following ideas:

- create and provide a special report

- give away a free product of my own

- offer support or coaching

- provide a service

- offer freelance work

A Blueprint on How to Create an Incentive

Probably the easiest value based incentive is to create and offer a special report.

How?

Ask yourselves these questions:

• What are your website visitors looking for?
• What need or problem are they trying to find information to solve?
• What product are you promoting to fulfill that need?
• What topic is similar to that need that might be of interest to your website visitor?

Write the answers down. Don't skip this step!

Then follow these important steps. This is a blueprint for success!:

1. Look on your hard drive for a private label rights (PLR) product that would complement the product you are promoting. If you are like most internet marketers, your hard drive is probably loaded with PLR material.

2. Take that PLR product and reduce the content it to a short report no longer than 5 to 7 pages. Focus on a one very specific topic related to the product you are promoting. Be sure to rewrite and reformat the PLR material to reflect YOUR voice, and to reflect the topic or need.

3. Save this simple small report as an Adobe pdf file.

4. Then, on your landing page, offer the special report as a bonus. You can offer it as either a reward for subscribing to your list, or offer it as a bonus if your website visitor purchases the product you are promoting.

This is a simple way to give value to your website visitor.

Offer value, real value, and you will have a flood of customers knocking on your internet door.
